Research Interests

My research interests broadly include fire ecology, forest ecology, and environmental biophysics. I am interested in understanding what factors affect the growth and development of forests and how disturbance events impact these factors. I am also interested in prescribed fire as a tool for ecological management and restoration in Wisconsin and sharing environmental science more broadly with my community.

Personal Interests

I enjoy spending time outdoors in any way possible, mostly hiking, walking, or reading a good book. I love to learn about the natural world whether it be through reading or observing the world around me. I also enjoy spending time with my creativity which often includes include painting, writing, or dancing!
