Research Interests

I am interested in understanding the impacts of climate change within the land-atmosphere interface; more specifically, how both natural and anthropogenic forces shape critical ecosystems and societies, and the impact those changes have globally. I am interested in using modeling and field work to gather data to answer global, climatic, environmental questions, and using the evidence to inform policy, taking into account pertinent cultural, social, political, and environmental realities.

Personal Interests

I enjoy outdoor activities including backpacking, camping, skiing, and anything that will keep me active. I also enjoy spending my time reading with a good cup of coffee or tea!
